Redevelopment of Memorial Stadium, Red Rolfe Baseball Stadium, and Dartmouth Softball Park
This project included the redevelopment of Dartmouth College’s Memorial Stadium, Red Rolfe Baseball Field, and Softball Park. For the historic Memorial Field Stadium, Gale provided a complete redevelopment of the field events, including the natural turf throwing area (hammer, discus, and javelin); and a new 400-meter, urethane running track, and synthetic turf football field complex. Improvements to the historic Red Rolfe Baseball Field included a new synthetic turf field and a new grandstand and press box. Our team gave multiple layout options for the space-constrained facility and adjusted the layouts based on feedback from multiple departments. The redesign included the electric and communication infrastructure to support track and football operations, erosion/sedimentation control, stormwater management design, and all environmental permitting requirements.
