Gale conducted an evaluation of the building enclosure systems at Avedisian Hall, a five-story, 144,000-square-foot facility that is among the largest buildings on campus and serves as the home of the University of Rhode Island’s College of Pharmacy. The building contains a combination of laboratory and teaching spaces. Over the past ten years, recurring reports of bird and rodent infiltration prompted Gale’s evaluation, as these issues appeared to be associated with deficiencies in the detailing and construction of the building envelope.
