Roof Replacement Project
Apollo Elementary School is a Brevard Public Schools Prototype elementary school. The roofing system consists of modified bitumen roofing membrane (approx. 94,800 sf) and standing seam metal mansards. Gale performed an evaluation of the low-sloped roofing systems, and the roof related mechanical, electrical, plumbing and structural components with the assistance of Cape Design Engineering (CDE).
Gale completed engineering, design, and prepared drawings and technical specifications for the replacement/repairs of the low-sloped roofs and metal mansards for building 1 roof replacement, and building 2,3, 4 roof repairs and design a Fluoropolymer “Kynar” resign roof coating. Gale also performed limited assistance during the bid and construction phases.
