Campus Roof Replacement
Benito Middle School is comprised of numerous classroom buildings connected by metal covered walkway systems. Designed by Rowe Architects and constructed in 1995, the existing roofing systems consist of gravel surfaced built up roofing (158,400 s.f.) and were experiencing deterioration and failure.
Gale evaluated the roofing systems and components of both the campus buildings and the connecting metal covered walkways with recommendations for roof replacement. Gale provided complete engineering, design, and construction documentation for the replacement of the gravel roofs only, including limited assistance during the bid and construction phases.
