The existing windows appeared to fail prematurely as evident by deflection in the frames causing the sashes to disengage from the “tilt-in” feature. Gale evaluated the windows to determine the cause of the premature failure and provide opinions for window replacement. We developed contract documents for the replacement of approximately 550 windows with new, thermally broken, aluminum framed windows with project-out operable sashes. During the bid phase Gale attended a pre-bid meeting and developed clarifications, as well as construction phase services, including attending construction meetings, site visits, and submittal reviews.
