Campus-Wide Roof Replacement and Building Enclosure Repairs
Gale provided comprehensive design and construction administration services for a campus-wide roof replacement and limited building enclosure repair project at Atlantic High School. The project encompassed approximately 210,000 square feet of standing seam metal roofing across Buildings 1 through 10, 35,000 square feet of low-sloped built-up roofing on multiple buildings, and approximately 7,200 square feet of covered walkway roofing.
Gale conducted a detailed assessment of existing conditions, including field measurements and interior observations, to develop replacement documents tailored to the campus’s diverse roofing systems. During design, our team performed wind uplift and drainage analyses, developed preliminary design concepts, and collaborated closely with the Owner to refine the project scope. Final construction documents included technical specifications and drawings detailing complete roofing systems, tie-in conditions, equipment curb replacements, and drainage improvements.
Throughout construction, Gale provided quality control observations, issued progress reports, and managed project closeout documentation to help ensure successful project delivery and long-term performance of the new roofing systems.
