Building Enclosure Commissioning
Towson University’s Science Complex is a 320,000-square-foot facility designed to support the university’s growing student population and its goal of achieving LEED Silver certification. Gale provided building enclosure commissioning services, including review of the architect’s drawings and specifications specifically related to enclosure systems. Gale’s limited construction phase services included building enclosure consulting, which involved attending pre-construction and progress meetings, reviewing off-site mock-ups and performance testing, and conducting periodic observations of contractor work related to the building enclosure systems.
