Drainage & Roadway Infrastructure Improvements
Halls Village Road had been plagued with surface distresses and stormwater management conditions for almost 20 years. Locally funded, the Town decided to replace the existing undersized drainage infrastructure and reclaim the existing road surface (with supplemental stone to improve the base structure) from NH Route 121 (aka Haverhill Road) to Webster Lane (approximately 5,865 feet), totaling 5,865 feet of drainage and road improvements. The project was scheduled to be on a fast-track approach commencing at the Town’s fiscal budget season of July 1st and completing construction prior to the typical closing of paving operations (November 15th). Gale was assigned to provide design, bidding, and construction observation services during the five-month project duration.
