Emergency Evaluation and Repair Design
The Palace Road Parking Garage is a three-level below-grade structure constructed with cast-in-place (CIP) concrete. Within one hour of Simmons’ notification of concrete deterioration, Gale performed an emergency evaluation and within four hours had coordinated the services of a masonry contractor to remove fall hazards (and provided temporary stabilization methods until permanent repairs could be performed.) We also provided design documents and construction phase services to facilitate long-term repairs.
