2,000-foot Road and Utility Infrastructure Extension
MassDevelopment, in conjunction with the Town of Belchertown and the Belchertown Economic Development Industrial Corp. (BEDIC), redeveloped the former Belchertown State School into a mixed-use neighborhood with commercial, retail, industrial, senior living, and various amenities. To assist in the redevelopment, an approximate 2,000 linear-foot roadway and utility infrastructure extension was required to connect Front Street and Jackson Street to the redevelopment. Utilities included water, sewer, drainage, gas, electric, telephone, and cable. Gale provided evaluation, civil engineering, permitting, bid and construction phase services.
