Since 1999, Gale has provided continuous airport engineering and planning services to the Fitchburg Municipal Airport, home to a range of aviation services from flight training and scenic and charter flights to aircraft maintenance and aviation medical exams. Projects completed under this term contract include:
- (2) master plan and airport layout plan updates
- environmental assessment and EIR report
- installation of fencing
- runway and taxiway relocation and extension
- acquisition of 37 avigation easements in (2) two municipalities
- removal and installation of new fuel storage and dispensing facility
- vegetation obstruction removal
