Wally Arias Espinal, EIT supports structural engineering projects through a combination of fieldwork, office-based analysis, site inspections, and drafting. Working closely with licensed engineers, he assists with structural analysis and design using both hand calculations and engineering software. He plays a key role in investigating existing buildings and developing repair designs across steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures, and is particularly enthusiastic about applying his structural engineering knowledge to the restoration, rehabilitation, and long-term performance of existing structures.

What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is getting out of the office, putting on my boots and hardhat, and visiting job sites to see designs come to life. This is where I get to learn the most about projects and how drawings translate into real construction.
