Johan Rodriguez is a versatile project manager with a unique blend of civil and chemical engineering expertise and a proven track record of leading complex water and stormwater projects. His career spans over 28 years, with a technical foundation as a Chemical Engineer designing and constructing water treatment facilities, to earning a Civil Engineer degree specializing in stormwater management. His project management expertise is extensive, from drainage studies, stormwater system mapping, GIS database development, and stormwater pond and storm sewer system design to hydrologic and hydraulic modeling for major watersheds and large-scale development projects and permitting applications to support the establishment of base flood elevations and the remapping of floodplains for complex watershed systems.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I enjoy taking a job from design to final construction and being able to see how the proposed improvements perform. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to design and see how the improvements constructed have resolved flooding problems and benefited the residents in the affected area.
