Allison Califano, EIT is a Staff Designer who supports Gale’s structural engineering projects through structural modeling, drafting, analysis, and field investigations for building restoration and rehabilitation projects. She contributes to the evaluation and design of structural repairs by applying strong technical skills in structural analysis and Building Information Modeling (BIM). Her experience includes forensic engineering, performing structural analyses, developing Revit models, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and assisting with construction documentation.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I like looking at the drawings and documents to piece together a project like a detective. Going in the field and seeing it in person is even more intriguing and fulfilling. I also like finding similarities or connections between different projects I’ve worked on.
