GEA performed an evaluation of the existing 400-meter running track with eight (8) lanes and associated field event areas located within the Brooks Stadium at the academy to provide comprehensive condition assessment and options for rehabilitation and improvements. Gale’s observed deficiencies confirmed the running track was in fair condition, but the surfacing had reached the end of its usable life resulting in several options involving resurfacing or replacement of the synthetic turf, reconstruction, and reconfiguration of track and field events.
