Gale assisted the Academy’s architect to plan and design improvements to the existing athletic field, originally designed for a natural grass field, to accommodate a new synthetic turf field. Gale’s services included design, permitting, bid and construction administration for new field including LED athletic lighting and stormwater management improvements. The new synthetic turf field utilized next-generation technology where design elements like logos, watermarks, striping were tufted together in a single run at the manufacturing facility. This decreased installation time and reduced the number of seams and waste generated from inlays.”
